On March 18, RJIF hosted a seminar for the Japan Trek group from Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. The visiting graduate students have been delegated from government ministries and corporations in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa and have joined the trek to learn about China-Japan relations from an objective standpoint. In this session, RJIF Chairman Yoichi Funabashi, Dr. Tomoko Ako (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Tokyo University), Dr. Asei Ito (Research Staff, The Institute of Social Science, Tokyo University), Dr. Nobuhiro Aizawa (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies, Kyushu University) gave lectures on themes including geopolitics of China, contemporary Chinese affairs and prospects of Asian affairs and engaged in discussions with the students.
