Dr. Yoichi Funabashi, Chairman of the Rebuild Japan Initiative Foundation, was interviewed by James Harding (Director, BBC News) and Zanny Minton Beddoes (Editor, The Economist) for the BBC’s “On Background” radio program, which talks to experts about the big stories of the week. Dr. Funabashi commented on how he sees the trajectory of US-Japan relations under a Trump administration, as well as the future of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.
