Asia Pacific Initiative (API, President: Dr Ken Jimbo, Managing Director of the International House of Japan (IHJ)) and The Asan Institute for Policy Studies co-hosted the “2023 Japan-Korea Policy Dialogue” at the IHJ on October 23, 2023.

Participants included researchers of the two institutions and other invited experts. The attendees discussed topics including “Peace and Stability of the Korean Peninsula: Responses to the North Korea Problem and Crisis Management” and “Japan-U.S.-Korea Trilateral Cooperation and Stability in the Indo-Pacific Region” in order to deepen intellectual exchanges on Japan-Korea diplomacy and security cooperation.

API will continue to contribute to building a free, open, and sustainable future through intellectual dialogue with a diverse world.
