On August 30, 2023, the Asia-Pacific Initiative (API), under the leadership of its President, Ken Jimbo, co-organized an international symposium titled “2023 Japan-Korea Future Dialogue: Envisioning a New Era.” This event was jointly hosted in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan.

The symposium brought together experts from both Japan and Korea to engage in comprehensive discussions on three pivotal themes: “Security in Northeast Asia and Japan-Korea Collaboration,” “Enhancing Economic Security and Supply Chain Resilience,” and “Future Strategies for Japan-Korea Cooperation.”

API will continue to contribute to building a free, open, and sustainable future through intellectual dialogue with a diverse world.
