Dr. Yoichi Funabashi, Chairman of RJIF, spoke at the Japan National Press Club interview series, “Trump Administration: the future of the U.S. and the rest of the world.” He was the guest speaker for the sixth round entitled “World order in the Trump era,” held on April 26, 2017.
In the interview, Dr. Funabashi analyzed the trump phenomenon through aspects such as U.S. history and ideology as well as international politics, economics, and trade, and he addressed his view on Japan’s position within the U.S-Japan relationship and its diplomatic relations in Asia.
