On May 27, 2024, Asia Pacific Initiative (API) held a private roundtable discussion between its experts and a bipartisan delegation of seven U.S. Congressional Staff. The event was held in collaboration with Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE) on the occasion of the group’s visit to Japan as part of JCIE’s U.S. Congressional Staff Exchange Program. The discussion focused on foreign policy challenges and opportunities facing the United States and Japan and areas for greater US-Japan collaboration.
