Dr. Yoichi Funabashi, Chairman of the Rebuild Japan Initiative Foundation, commented for a survey article, “Is the Liberal Order in Peril?” on the Foreign Affairs website. The article was published on April 18, 2017.

In the article, experts with regard to the question at hand, together with a few leading generalists in the field, were asked to answer the question. Dr. Funabashi’s answer was “strongly agree” and he commented “The biggest crisis since the end of World War II. We risk revisiting the interwar years of 1919-1939.”
