On July 30, 2024, Asia Pacific Initiative (API), in collaboration with the East Asia Institute (EAI) from Korea, held a workshop themed “Common Challenges for ROK and Japan toward 2050.” This workshop is part of a joint research project involving seven researchers from each country. The project’s goal is to identify crucial issues common to both nations and explore the potential for bilateral cooperation. The research will further continue, and the results are expected to be published in March next year.
