API Hosted Joint Seminar with Japan Society on “US Presidential Election and US-Japan Relations”


On May 24, 2024, Asia Pacific Initiative (API) held a joint seminar with the New York-based Japan Society on the topic of the “US Presidential Election and US-Japan Relations.”

The seminar featured Dr. Joshua W. Walker, President & CEO of Japan Society, as a guest speaker. He engaged in a discussion with Dr. Ken Jimbo, API President, focusing on the US presidential election and US-Japan relations, particularly from the global perspective of New York.

The International House of Japan (IHJ) and Japan Society have maintained a strategic partnership since 2022. API will continue to collaborate with Japan Society to help realize IHJ’s vision of becoming a leading hub for knowledge exchange in the Asia-Pacific region.
