Mr. Nakashima is Senior Representative at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation\u2019s Representative Office in Washington D.C. and from 1 May 2016, he will join RJIF to oversee projects related to geopolitics and geoeconomics.<\/p>\n<div class=\"readmore\"><a class=\"button small\">Profile<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"moreread\">\n<p>Hiroyuki Nakashima received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Tokyo (1994), and his M.Sc. in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford (1998).<\/p>\n<p>He joined the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in 1994 and has worked for JBIC for over 20 years. His experience and responsibilities within JBIC have been broad. It includes 7 years in Financing departments (energy and mining projects in Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Africa), 8 years in the Planning departments (corporate planning, lending policy planning and policy coordination with the Japanese government), 2 years in the Treasury department (funding from capital market) and 2 years in the London Representative Office.
