Established in 2008, the Network of Global Agenda Councils is an knowledge network composed of 80 councils focusing on specific issues. The Global Council on Nuclear Security is spin-off from the Global Agenda Council on Nuclear, Biological &amp; Chemical Weapons, in a response to the increasing concerns over nuclear security in the wake of Fukushima nuclear accident.
