Profile
IJITSU Haruka joined the AP Initiative in July 2022. Her main research areas include the relationship between digital-related policies and intrinsic motivations toward career choices, and the creation of outreach opportunities for social issues. At API, she recently served as a director of the PEP (policy entrepreneur’s platform) Journalism Awards. Prior to joining the AP Initiative, she started her career as a Program Director at NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), Asia’s largest media organization, where she worked in TV production for over 10 years. She also worked at PwC Consulting for 2019-2022, where she was responsible for the department of New Business Creation Support and the development of the Social Impact Initiative.
She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Gakushuin University and an MBA from Aoyama Gakuin University’s Graduate School of International Management.
