Mr. Hasegawa was also Chairman of the Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) from 2011 to April 2015, and was a member of the Abe government’s Industrial Competitiveness Council in 2013 and 2014. He graduated from Waseda University.

Mr. Ushioda joined Toyo Sash Co., Ltd. Toyo Sash Co., Ltd. changed its name to Tostem Corporation, Tostem INAX Holding Corporation, JS Group Corporation, and to LIXIL Group Corporation. Mr. Ushioda served as branch manager, sales planning manager, product development manager, total quality control (TQC) manager, and vice president (account and finance). In 2006, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of LIXIL Group Corporation. Beginning in 2012, he served as Director and Chairman of the Board of the company, and was concurrently appointed as Representative Executive Officer, Chairman and CEO in November 2018. He retired from LIXIL in June 2019.
Mr. Ushioda holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Tokyo and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Mori is Director and Executive Vice President of Mori Building Co., Ltd., President of Shanghai World Financial Center Co., Ltd., and President and CEO of Mori Hospitality Corporation.
Mr. Mori joined Mori Building Co., Ltd. in 1995, became Managing Director in 2000, and has been Senior Managing Director since 2003. In April 2005, Mr. Mori assumed the additional responsibilities of CEO of Shanghai World Financial Center Investment Co., Ltd. He was appointed President and CEO of Hills Club Co., Ltd. in 2011, and after the merger in 2012, President and CEO of Mori Hospitality Corporation. He has a wide range of managerial responsibilities within the Mori Building group, including supervising its PM operations, as well as overseeing the Shanghai World Financial Center project, which opened in 2008 in Shanghai, PRC.
Before joining Mori Building, Mr. Mori worked for the Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. (IBJ), where he served in numerous posts in its Securities Business and Industrial Research Departments. Graduate of the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Economics in April 1986.
EHARA John Nobuyoshi

EHARA John Nobuyoshi co-founded Unison Capital in 1998. A pioneer in the private equity business in Japan, Unison Capital is among the region’s leading firms today. He has spearheaded the firm since its inception, building its team and operations.
Mr. Ehara was instrumental in establishing the Private Equity Association of Japan, serving as Chairman from 2005 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2015.
From February 2017 to February 2019 he served as Chairman of the Asia Business Council, the first pan-Asian CEO organization formed by a group of prominent business people to understand and work toward the continued economic growth and competitiveness of Asia as a region.
He has been on the board of Sumitomo Corporation since June 2016. In 2018 he was appointed as a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum.
Prior to founding Unison Capital, Mr. Ehara spent 16 years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, building its franchise in Japan. In 1988 he became the first Japanese national to be selected General Partner of Goldman Sachs. He worked at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company in New York and Tokyo between 1978 and 1980.
Mr. Ehara holds a B.S. in Architecture and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
From May 2013 to September 2019, Mr. Ehara served as Director of Asia Pacific Initiative.

After coming from Hiroshima and receiving an MA in Humanities from Gakushuin University Graduate School in Tokyo, SUEMATSU Minako tested her hands in an internet based startup company. In 2001, she helped News2u Co., Ltd. to be established and then in 2017, appointed as the president of News2u Holdings Inc. Later that year, she became the Chairperson and Publisher of The Japan Times, Ltd. Minako is now in the steps of the opening of the European style boarding school In Setouchi “Jinseki International School” planned in April 2020.
