RJIF publishes article in the Financial Times on Japanese architects pushing to build wooden skyscrapers in Tokyo


On July 4th, an article written by RJIF researcher Sophie Knight on architects in Japan designing innovative wooden high-rises in Japan in spite of tough fire regulations was published in The Financial Times. Titled “Tokyo designers push the boundaries of wooden skyscrapers”, the article was the second in a series RJIF is publishing as a result of its research project into Japan’s contemporary living environment and emerging lifestyles.
